<p>PURPOSE:To facilitate circuit verification by simplifying the operation of an edge detection part relating to a serial data edge detection circuit for detecting the leading position of burst serial data. CONSTITUTION:A trigger part 14 generates trigger signals and supplies them to an edge detection signal generation part 16 after the head of the serial data is detected until edge detection signals are supplied from the edge detection signal generation part 16. The edge detection signal generation part 16 outputs the edge detection signals when the trigger signals or edge detection holding signals are supplied. When reset signals are not supplied from a counting part 17, an edge detection signal holding part 15 generates the above-mentioned edge detection holding signals and supplies them to the edge detection signal generation part 16 based on the edge detection signals from the edge detection signal generation part 16.</p> |
