PURPOSE:To obtain the structure which enables many systems to be packaged while reserving the spaces for bending of input/output optical fibers by arranging system units in the axial direction of an insulating cylinder and arranging surge protecting circuits at both ends. CONSTITUTION:Plural (six in this case) system units SYS1 to SYS6 provided with up circuits 21 and down circuits 22 are arranged in an insulating cylinder 20 in the axial direction of the insulating cylinder 20, and surge protecting circuits 23 are arranged at both ends. Feeders 24 between surge protecting circuits 23 and system units SYS1 to SYS6 are wired above the system units SYS1 to SYS6, and input/output optical fibers 25 to system units SYS1 to SYS6 and optical fibers 26 for loop back are wired below the system units SYS1 to SYS6. Thus, a system is made thin to enable many systems to be packaged, end spaces for bending of input/output optical fibers are reserved in parts of surge protecting circuits 23. |
