摘要 The gravitational cylinder is a machine element which is similar to a pneumatic cylinder and is used in processing technology, machines or other devices which need pneumatic cylinders or other components. Instead of compressed air the gravitational cylinder uses the force of buoyancy. It is composed of a cylinder (3) in which the buoy (1) is built; the density of the buoy is less than the density of the liquid (2) in the cylinder. The way in which the cylinder itself turns around can be used for the movement-direction control of the piston (4), which is fastened to the buoy (1). The movement is conveyed by the piston (4) or some other mechanism (8) which should be fastened to the buoy. The gravitational cylinder can be used as a switch, part of a control loop, part of a transport device, part of a conveyance mechanism or some other machine element for machine construction or processing technology. It may be used as an independent element or as a component in a group of elements.
