PURPOSE:To enhance stationing stability of a wire rod in a coil straight line part of a race track type superconducting magnet without inviting a reduction in cooling efficiency and a large size of a magnet. CONSTITUTION:A metal band 6 is wound round the outer periphery of a coil 1. Also, a spacer 5 is interposed between an outer peripheral straight line part 1a of a coil and the metal band 6, and a fastening force of the metal band 6 is applied to a part of the straight line part 1a via the spacer 5. Thus, a compression force is applied to the entire area of the coil towards the center side of the coil, and movements caused by an electromagnetic force of a superconductor 2 can be prevented. |
