<p>PURPOSE:To clarify the operations of icons, to provide multiple functions for the icons and to improve the operability of a computer system on the computer system provided with GUI cricking the icons displayed on a display screen by means of a mouse and causing the computer system to execute various operations. CONSTITUTION:The computer system 1 is provided with an icon definition file 2 defining the functions of the individual icons displayed on the display screen and a switch icon definition file 5. The switch icon definition file 5 defines the functions of switch icons to which the other functions are added besides the functions peculiar to the icons by fitting them to the icons. For adding the other functions to the icons besides the peculiar functions, the switch icons 'O' and 'square' having the functions are fitted. When the icons are cricked, the operations which 'O' and 'square' show are executed.</p> |
