<p>PURPOSE:To simplify operation and to reduce misoperation by previously registering an operation pattern consisting of a series of operations and reproducing an optional operation from the registered pattern. CONSTITUTION:This pointing device is provided with a register button 3 and a reproducing button 4 in addition to click generation buttons 1, 2. When the button 3 is depressed, a register signal is informed from a register signal detecting part 15 to a control part 16 as a control signal. During the depression of the button 3, binary conversion is executed by a coordinate position converting part 12 and a button detecting part 13 and processed results are sucessively stored in a storage part 17. Simultaneously click operation time is measured and registered by a counter in the control part 16. When the button 4 is depressed at the time of reproducing, a reproducing signal is informed from a reproducing signal generating part 14 to the control part 16, which reproduces the operation pattern consisting of a series of operations registered in the storage part 17 and sends information based upon the reproduced operation pattern to an information processor body to execute processing based upon the operation pattern.</p> |
