Reversible spectacles characterised by a special frame for receiving correcting lenses having progressive focal lengths (varifocals) or having several fixed focal lengths (multifocals), so as to be able to use these spectacles in the usual position (7), with the far-view part (1) located towards the top and the near-view part (2) towards the bottom, and, simply by turning over into the upside-down position (8), with the far-view part (1) located towards the bottom and the near-view part (2) located towards the top. The central tie (3) of the special frame which supports the correcting lenses may be fixed or movable at (5) and (6) in order to locate the position of their focal points correctly with respect to the eyes. The sides of the special frame may be straight, or can be turned round in order to be positioned correctly depending on the direction of use of the spectacles. <IMAGE>
