<p>PURPOSE:To attain miniaturization and power saving by displacing an idler gear into a position of rotating one reel spindle by means of a lever when a motor is forwardly rotated or reversely rotated and transmitting the rotation of the motor to the reel spindle. CONSTITUTION:A flywheel 9 is rotated clockwise by starting up the motor M. Then, the lever 11 is turned clockwise by a load of the idler gear 13 meshed with a flywheel gear 10. A pinch arm 18 is turned to retreat by bringing a tip part of a guide shaft 12 of the idler gear 13 and a guide circular-arcuate part of a pinch arm 18 into contact with each other, and the idler gear 13 and a reel gear 4 are released from their engagement immediately before they should mesh with each other in accordance with turning of the lever 11, so that a pinch roller 25 is moved into a position of pressing a tape against a capstan shaft 6. Then, a head arm is turned counterclockwise by sliding a selecting lever 17 to the left side, and an FWD head 26 on the right side is brought into contact with the tape, and then the tape is traveled.</p> |
