CONSTITUTION:The developing device 44 has a developer/toner replenishing part 150 formed so as to independently attach a developer tank and a toner cartridge. A toner concentration sensor 146a for managing the toner concn. of a developer D is arranged on the developing device 44. When the developer D is supplied from the developer/toner replenishing part 150, the toner concn. sensor 146a is used to detect the presence of the developer D and a failure in drawing in and to manage the toner concn. during a copying action. |
