PURPOSE:To provide an abnormal-temperature alarm device whereby an abnormal temperature can be recognized easily. CONSTITUTION:An abnormal-temperature alarm device 1 has the inversely U-shaped profile of a basic part 21 and a pair of lateral profiles 22, 23. The abnormal-temperature alarm device 1 comprises a frame 2 used concurrently as a heat receiving body, optical fibers 3, 4 fixed in through holes 24, 25 formed in the frame 2, and an actuator 6 mounted on the bottom surface of the basic part 21. The actuator 6 is made of a shape memory material, and when its temperature exceeds the transformation point of the material its cylindrical part 61 so becomes a bent shape that its shielding part 62 is entered in a gap 34 formed between the optical fibers 3, 4. Thereby, a light 3A transmitted from the optical fiber 3 is cut-off from passing through the optical fiber 4 provided on a light emission side. Therefore, by the presence or absence of the light 3A transmitted to the optical fiber 4, an abnormal temperature can be sensed. |
