PURPOSE:To rotate a whole document with a character erected as it is and to execute display which is easily viewed without executing extreme reduction display and partial display at the time of displaying a mixed mode document on a screen. CONSTITUTION:The document having character data A, character data B including ruled-line,' image data C and graphic data D, which is shown as the original 401, is screen-rotated with the character erected as it is. In such a case, the display positions of the display areas of respective pieces of data A-D constituting the document are converted, are address-rotated and are reconstructed on a screen buffer as shown in 402 by a logical rotation processing. Then, data except for the character are rotation-processed and edited to be shown as 403 by the allocation processing of data except for the character. Finally, character data is left erected and is edited as shown in 404 by the allocation processing of character data. |
