PURPOSE:To disable persons other than a user to see the liquid crystal display. CONSTITUTION:A first polarizing plate 2 is arranged on only one face of a liquid crystal layer 1 to constitute a liquid crystal display element main body. This main body is set to the display part of various apparatus or devices so that its liquid crystal layer 1 is on the front side. A glasses type polarizing plate 5 where a second polarizing plate is attached to the frame of glasses is so prepared that the user can set the second polarizing plate before his both eyes. When the apparatus or the device is used, the user sets this glasses type polarizing plate 5 before his both eyes to see the liquid crystal layer 1 of the liquid crystal display element main body set to the display part. Thus, only the user of the apparatus or the device who sets the glasses type polarizing plate 5 before his both eyes can recognize the display contents when seeing the liquid crystal display on the display part. |
