PURPOSE:To provide the liquid crystal display device having excellent brightness and homogeneity and high visibility and the process for easy production of this device. CONSTITUTION:This liquid crystal display device is constituted by forming a high-refractive index layer 23 consisting of a siloxane macromolecule contg. oxide particulates and a low-refractive index layer 24 consisting of a fluorine contained macromolecule on the surface of parts (glass of a light source, light transmission plate, diffusion plate, liquid crystal panel, cover glass). An excellent reflection attenuating effect is obtd. by adjusting the refractive indices and film thicknesses of the siloxane macromoleculw and fluorine contained macromolecule formed on the surface. The liquid crystal display device is easily produced by applying a sol prepd. by mixing at least the oxide particulates and org. silicon compd. in a solvent and preparing a homogenous soln. on the surface of the parts and further applying a fluorine contained org. compd. soln. thereon, thereby forming two-layered films. |
