LIQUID-SURFACE DETECTION DEVICE AND LIQUID-SURFACE DETECTION METHOD USING THE DEVICE

PURPOSE:To provide a liquid-surface detection device whose sampling and dispensing accuracy is high even when a disposable nozzle is used and to provide a liquid-surface detection method using the device. CONSTITUTION:A constant dispenser 4 which performs a suction and discharge operation is connected to a water supply means 2 and to one end of a water- filling line 3 via a first changeover valve 1. On the other hand, the other end of the water-filling line 3 is connected to a sampling line 7a and to an air- pressure feed line 6 via a second changeover valve 5. A movable nozzle 7 which corresponds to a sample cup 8 is attached to the tip of the sampling line 7a. On the other hand, a pressure detection means 11 is installed at the air-pressure feed line 6.
