PURPOSE:To inexpensively form an image in which an analog image, without being omitted, and a digital image are synthesized. CONSTITUTION:When a synthetic image formation by the use of first and second exposure means is specifyed, a controller CONT derives the image forming magnification of the first exposure means and an image start position, based on the exposure area of the second exposure means. Based on the derived image forming magnification and image start position, motors 76, 61, etc., position an optical system into the place where the analog images converge inside a fed recording medium. Also, based on the state of digital exposure by the second exposure means, the controller CONT controls the timing of the start of exposure which the first exposure means carries out. |
