PURPOSE:To perform dialing considering the convenience of a communicating opposite side by providing a means which calculates the on-the-spot time of the location of the communicating opposite side from the telephone number of the communicating opposite side and the present time, and displaying the local time on a display part. CONSTITUTION:A telephone set provided with a timepiece circuit 18 and the display part 17 and a function to display the present time on the display part 17 is provided with the means 20 to calculate the local time of the location of the communicating opposite side from the telephone number of the communicating opposite side and the present time, and the local time is displayed on the display part 17. In other words, microcomputer 20 for system control is used. The microcomputer 20 is provided with a CPU 21, a ROM 22, and a RAM 23, etc., and every kind of working program and processing routine of a flow chart are written on the ROM 22. Thereby, since the local time of the location of the communicating opposite side can be displayed on the display part 17 by performing, for example, the key input of the telephone number of the communicating opposite side, the dialing can be performed considering the convenience of the communicating opposite side. |
