<p>PURPOSE:To reduce the floating quantity of a magnetic tape and to make the floating quantity uniform within an effective winding angle in the VTR of high rfelative speed. CONSTITUTION:This device is constituted of a rotary cylinder 1 having a magnetic head 4, a first fixed cylinder 8 for supporting the rotary shaft of the rotary cylinder 1 and guiding the travelling a magnetic tape 7 and a second fixed cylinder 9. Air grooves 5 are provided on the peripheral surface of the rotary cylinder 1 at least more than one, the opening widths of at least more than one of them are made over 0.2mm to less than 0.7mm and in the condition that the relative speed between the magnetic head 4 and the tape is over 20m/s to less than 100m/s, the floating quantity of the tape is reduced and made uniform.</p> |
