PEN INPUT DEVICE FOR CHANGING LINE SORT BY SWITCH OF INPUT PEN

PURPOSE:To display a required line sort on a screen by simple constitution and operation by providing a switch fixed to an input pen with a line sort selecting function for selecting line sorts such as the thickness, density and color of a line to be displayed on the screen of a display device. CONSTITUTION:Line sorts such as the thickness, density and color of a picture inputted to the screen of the display device 5 are selected by a line sort selecting switch 6 fixed to the input pen and a line sort amount such as the degree of thickness is selected by a line sort/line sort amount control switch 7. A line sort/line sort amount counter means 2 counts up a line sort amount corresponding to a selected line sort and informs the count result to a data processing means 4. A position detecting means 3 detects the position of the input pen 1 on the screen and sends the detected result to the means 4. The means 4 displays a line with the required line sort amount obtained by the means 2 on the position obtained from the means 3 on the screen of the means 5 based upon these information.
