PURPOSE:To improve the operability by properly determining a time interval required to increase and decrease a selected parameter value according to its set range. CONSTITUTION:This device is equipped with a keyboard 8 for inputting musical performance information, a parameter selection switch 2 for selecting a parameter to be varied, an up switch 4a and a down switch 4b for increasing and decreasing the selected parameter value, a display device 3 Which displays the selected parameter and its value, and a speaker 7 which outputs musical sound. When the up switch 4a and down switch 4b are operated, the value of the parameter selected with the parameter selection switch 2 is increased and decreased at time intervals corresponding to the parameter. Namely, the time interval required to increase and decrease the value of the parameter is properly determined according to the set range of the value of the parameter. Consequently, the operability is improved and the values of various parameters can be set in a short time. |
