Control valve for indirectly acting compressed air brake on rail vehicles

The invention relates to a control valve for indirectly acting compressed air brakes with a two-pressure element and a three-pressure control valve. The invention is based on the object of making the two-pressure element and the three-pressure control valve compatible in an operating mode which does not correspond to the regulations of the UIC, the International Union of Railways; a second operating mode being possible in which the two-pressure element is ineffective and the three-pressure control valve corresponds to the conditions of the UIC. According to the invention the object is achieved by means of the arrangement of a supplementary element with valves and of connections which conduct compressed air. <IMAGE>
