METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR CONTROLLING ARC WELDING ROBOT

The period of arc generation is determined for each of the welded parts by measuring the time that the arc current (or voltage) exceeds a reference current (or voltage). The period thus determined is compared with a given period which is determined by the welding operation. If the period of the arc generation is short, it is judged that the welding is not proper.
