<p>A waste disposal unit is defined by a box (1) for receiving used syringes. The box includes a small chamber (3) and a large chamber (4). A key-hole slot (5) on the box functions to receive the needle part of a used syringe into the small chamber. An elongate aperture (6) on the box functions to receive the body part of the syringe into the large chamber. The elongate aperture includes two flexible cover members (7) which are biased towards closure of the chamber.</p> |
