The present invention relates to a method for hydrodynamic conveying of liquids which, to a greater or lesser extent, also contain gas, the gas being conveyed, together with the liquid, by means of at least one centrifugal pump (10) through conduits, and the centrifugal pump (10) having an axial inlet port (2) and an outlet port (3), arranged at the perimeter of the pump casing (1), with an adjoining discharge nozzle (5), and also to a corresponding installation and a pump therefor. In order to provide a method, an installation and a suitably adapted pump having the features specified at the outset, which are particularly suitable for conveying oxidation-sensitive substances it is proposed, according to the invention, that to convey oxidation-sensitive liquids, especially foods such as milk or beer, a centrifugal pump (10) in a fitted position be employed in which its casing outlet port (3) is situated close to the highest point of the inner perimeter of the casing (1) or includes said point. <IMAGE>
