<p>An apparatus for balancing a rotating body, in particular the grinding wheel (1) of a grinding machine, comprises an assembly secured to the grinding wheel and rotating with it, with masses (13, 14) having an adjustable arrangement, electrical motors (15, 16) for controlling adjusting movements of the masses, and electrical circuits (48) with a microprocessor unit (66). A transceiver terminal (7) between a control unit (10) and the rotating assembly provides a first contactless transmission channel (40, 53) for inductively coupling a fixed power source (10a) to the rotating parts, and a second contactless transmission channel (37, 38, 49, 50; 80, 81) for transmitting informations in both directions. The second transmission channel may comprise optoelectronic devices (37, 38, 49, 50).</p> |
