摘要 The invention relates to a method and reagent for determining H2O2 in a sample liquid by an indicator reaction wherein a dye is formed by oxidative coupling of two chromogens in the presence of peroxidase, the chromogens used being a phenol derivative and a material capable of coupling with the phenol derivative, which is characterised in that the phenol derivative is at least one compound of the general formulae I or/and II <IMAGE> where R<1> is a radical of the general formula -(CH2)n-COZ, where n is an integer from 0 to 4 and Z is NR<3>R<4> or OR<3>, where R<3> or/and R<4> are independently of each other hydrogen or/and an alkyl group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms, R<2> denotes one or more radicals which are independently of each other H, halogen, alkyl having 1 to 4 carbon atoms or/and CN, the R<2> in the formula (I) being in position 2, 5 or/and 6 and the R<2> in the formula (II) being in position 3, 5 or/and 6.
