Actuating element with automatically acting blocking device

A proposal is made for an actuating element for the linear movement of an actuator (1) between two end positions, having a plunger (3) which can be driven guided in a housing (2) and a blocking device acting automatically in one of the end positions against resetting by means of external forces. In this arrangement, a coupling piece (4) is arranged between actuator (1) and plunger (3), and the said coupling piece is coupled to the actuator (1) via a ball-joint (5) and to the plunger (3) via hook-shaped projections (6, 7), is guided in the housing (2) and can be pivoted about the ball-joint (5) in one end position and, in so doing, can be locked into a recess (8) of the housing (2).
