An electrical contact switch, especially a door contact switch, has a control element (5) which can be moved in the longitudinal direction against the influence of the spring within a housing (1), between limit positions (7, 6) which produce open and closed contacts (18), one end of which control element (5) projects beyond the housing (1) and can be moved and locked beyond the first limit position (6) into an additional limit position (8) which produces open contacts (18).
