The invention relates to a connecting rear wall (10) for sub-racks in electronic installations. Metal plates (14, 16) parallel to a wiring board (12) are screwed thereto and serve both to supply the power and provide a screen against high-frequency interference. The maximum dimension of apertures (26) and recesses (A) in the metal plates (14, 16) is no greater than 1/10 to 1/20 of the wavelength of the highest-frequency interference signal to be screened.
