Electrical connecting terminal for printed circuit boards, and a method for its production

An electrical connecting terminal for printed circuit boards is illustrated and described, having a terminal housing made of insulating material and having at least one metallic conductor connecting body which is arranged in the terminal housing and is designed as a screw connecting body, and having at least one thin, elastomeric SMD connecting strip which is electrically connected to the conductor connecting body, projects at the front and/or rear from the terminal housing and is drawn into the conductor connecting body where it forms a conductor protection element whose essential special feature is that the SMD connecting strip is held down by a material web which is of the same material as the wall of the terminal housing and is connected to it by techniques such as bonding, soldering or welding, and its end which projects laterally out of the terminal housing is deformed into the solder connecting plane, roughly forming a step. A method for the production of such a connecting terminal is characterised in that the SMD connecting strip is initially located in an orientation essentially parallel to its conductor protection element, and it is not deformed into the solder connecting plane until the conductor protection element has been inserted into the screw connecting body, which has already been introduced into the terminal housing in advance.
