Apatite-coated tetracalcium phosphate particles

Tetracalcium phosphate particles are coated with apatite. This may be carried out by subjecting the tetracalcium phosphate particles to hydration e.g. with an aqueous solution of an acid such as carboxylic acid, phosphoric acid or a polymer of an acrylic acid.
