The method for displaying the whole music names recorded in the disc includes the steps of: checking whether a current mode is the playing mode or not on the whole music name key; storing a position value of the playing music if the current mode is the playing mode; displaying the whole music names on a monitor; and returnning the operation to the playing mode. Also, the method further includes the steps of storing a current mode if the current mode is not the playing mode, displaying the whole music names on a monitor, and returnning the operation mode to the stored mode. As a result, the use of convenience is achieved.
