Patent leather having excellent "thermosetting" is obtained by coating buffed and primed leather with two-component systems comprising polyurethanes, the hydroxyl component employed being, instead of the customary hydroxyl polyesters, specific OH group-containing oligourethanes. …The oligourethanes are prepared by reacting mixtures of macrodiols of various molecular weight with diisocyanates.
