PURPOSE:To eliminate the disturbance of the frequency characteristics caused by the cavity effect and then to prevent lowering of the sound pressure level at the high range by installing an equalizer in front of the diaphragm and then selecting the opposite area ratio between the diaphragm and the equalizer to the fixed range. CONSTITUTION:Rectangular equalizer 13 is attached at the front of diaphragm 1 in parallel and with a fixed space, and formed into one body with support ring 16 at its outer circumference via four pieces of rib 15 to be attached at the front of frame 3 via ring 16. At the same time, equalizer 13 is formed into a body with the die casting of Al, Zn and others. And the area ratio between opposite surfaces 13a and 1a of equalizer 13 and diaphragm 1 each is selected within the range of 1:2/3- 2/7 in terms of the diaphragm-to-equalizer relation. At a result, the disturbance of the frequency characteristics caused by the cavity effect can be eliminated, preventing, lowering of the sound pressure level at the high range. |
