PURPOSE:To enhance fixing properties, density, sensitivity, resolving power, gradation properties and color reproducibility, in a dye image receiving material used in combination with an ink layer cotaining a heat, diffusible dye having a polymerizable ethylenic unsaturated double bond, by adding a polymerization initiator to the dye image receiving layer of this material as an essential component. CONSTITUTION:To a dye image receiving layer composed of a dye image receiving material used in combination with a dye donating material having an ink layer containing a dye having at least polymerizable ethylenic unsaturated double bond as a heat diffusible dye, a primary initiator such as azobisisobutylonitrile and a photopolymerization initiator such as benzoyl are added as essential components. Any polymerization initiator generating an active seed by the energy applied in the formation of an image such as light or heat is used unlimitedly. |
