PURPOSE:To produce an ink which can be used in high-speed, high-quality color image recording because of its excellent ink-running resistance, stability, bleeding resistance and color shading resistance by admixing a specific unsaturated polyether to the ink containing colorants, water-soluble organic solvents and water. CONSTITUTION:The objective ink contains (A) colorants, (B) water-soluble organic solvents such as alcohol, (C) water and (D) a compound of the formula [R1, R2, R3 and R4 are each H, 1-4C alkyl, phenyl which may be substituted; (m+n) is 0 to 50; 1>=2], preferably in an amount of 0.001 to 20wt.%. It is preferred that a cartridge is filled with the ink, and is provided with an ink-jetting nozzle to prepare a recording unit from which the ink droplets are jetted through the orifice of the nozzle head to the substrate according to the recording signals. |
