PURPOSE:To play a shiritori game (cap verses) with a computer game machine by reading the beginning and end of a word from a speech input, then making sure that the end of the word is not 'n' and then randomly reading a word with a beginning common to the end of the first word, and issuing the second word from a loudspeaker. CONSTITUTION:A speech recognition means 3 converts speech inputted thereto via a microphone 1 into an electric signal and transmits the signal to a controller 4, which in turn takes the beginning and end of a word from the speech transmitted thereto and, after making sure that the end of the word is not 'n' temporarily stores the word. A word with a beginning common to the end of the first word is randomly read from a word storage means 5 and is issued from a loudspeaker 7 via a speech synthesis means 5. When the end of the first word is 'n' and when the next speech is not inputted from the microphone 1 for a predetermined period of time after the second word has been issued from the loudspeaker 7, and when the input speech and the output word are repeated twice in one game, a game finishing signal is sent. |
