PURPOSE:To realize an phase shifter featuring the facilitated manufacture and adjustment by forming two units of the diode on the same substrate. CONSTITUTION:Junction parts 10a and 10b of two diodes plus electrodes 11a and 11b are formed on the same substrate 9. Electrodes 11a and 11b are connected via bonding wires 16a and 16b to microstrip lines 13a and 13b respectively. At the same time, terminal 17 and 18 of matching circuits 4a and 4b are connected to the hybrid in the case of the hybrid-type phase shifter and to the main transmission line in case the loaded line type phase shifter each. Substrate 9 is mounted on stud 15, and stud 15 is soldered to earthed conductor 14. With use of the diode of such constitution, just one process suffices for drilling of the dielectric substrate and mounting of the diode. |
