PURPOSE:To provide a sanitary hotwater supply apparatus with improved durability by providing the apparatus with a control means for spraying tap water at an optional time after the completion of hot water supply to clean a contacting filler in a air liquid contact chamber. CONSTITUTION:The cleaning of an air liquid contact chamber 7 can be set by an operating section of a controller 16 utilizing a microcomputer when al members of a family complete uses of all hot water supply taps 3 in a bath room, kitchen, etc. At that time a solenoid valve 14b for both filling water and cleaning opens for a fixed time to supply tap water to the air liquid contact chamber 7 and clean a contacting filler 8 and a can wall arond the filler 8. One time of cleaning in the mid night suffices for the usual cleaning. Since the air liquid chamber 7 gets dry until a bathtub 5 is filled with hot water in the evening even if a hot water supply tap is used in the day time, the filler 8 is not corroded even if combustion exhaust including NOx, SOx, C12 passes through the air liquid contact chamber 7. Since the ta water sprayed at optionary set time for a fixed time washes off these acids, a santiary apparatus with improved durability is provided. |
