<p>PURPOSE:To support the tip of a bin securely in a sorter, which can take out the paper to the front of a device and in which a bin can be moved in the paper carrying direction, by providing a guide means for guiding a bin when the bin positioned opposite to a processing means is moved in the carrying direction. CONSTITUTION:A staple sorter 2 arranged in the side of a copying machine main body has a bin unit 27, which includes plural bins 25 and a driving unit for driving these bins 25 in the vertical direction, and a staple device or the like as a processing unit is arranged under a carrying unit for carrying the paper from the copying machine main body to the bin unit 27. Each bin 25 is moved vertically through a trunnion engaged with each groove 33 of a spiral cam 33 forming a driving unit. A bin 25 moved to a position opposite to the processing unit is moved to the processing unit side by a bin moving mechanism, and thereafter, returned to the original position. The movement of the bin 25 is guided by a guide rail provided in the bin moving mechanism.</p> |
