PURPOSE:To prevent accumulation of dust in duct for release exhaust gas and to prevent chocking of in passage by a method wherein a duct part for lowering having more inclination than an angle for dust repose is arranged to the duct for releasing exhaust gas. CONSTITUTION:A duct for releasing exhaust gas branched from the exhaust duct of an incinerator 1 is coupled to a water sealing tank 5. A duct 3 for releasing exhaust gas comprises a duct part 3a for a rise having more inclination than an angle for repose of dust; and a duct part 3b for lowering continuing thereto. This constitution causes the natural drop of dust along the slopes of the duct part 3a for rise and the duct part 3b for lowering even in a state that a gas flow in the duct 3 for releasing exhaust gas is hardly generated. Further, a pressure detector 11 to detect a pressure in the duct is arranged to the terminal part of a duct 3 for releasing exhaust gas and a closure detector 12 to detect whether the duct is choked, based on pressure value detected by the pressure detector 11.
