摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To provide a method for controlling speed of a driving motor of a tandem mill for preventing reverse rotation at the time of a line stop. CONSTITUTION:A speed command signal VSi obtained by multiplying a speed setting signal VSOi from an i-th stand speed setter 4 by an acceleration/ deceleration speed command signal VAi from an acceleration/deceleration speed command device 5 is subjected to operation with an actual speed signal VRi fed back from a speed detector 10, the deviation DELTAV is inputted to a speed adjuster 8 provided with a function of a proportional integration adjusting element as a control signal to control a drive motor 2 and to decelerate and stop a tandem mill line. In this case, a gain of the proportional integration adjusting element of the speed adjuster 8 is changed into a proportional compensation based on a gain changing command from a gain changing command device 11, and also by operating the proportional term, reverse rotation phenomenon is prevented and a tension between stands is prevented from varying. Therefore, the yield and quality of a product can be improved.</p>
