PURPOSE:To obtain a flame-retardant resin compsn. excellent in flame retardance, chemical resistance, impact resistance, and heat stability by compounding an arom. polycarbonate resin: an arom. polyester resin, a specific epoxy resin, and a thermoplastic elastomer each in a specified amt. CONSTITUTION:This resin compsn. comprises 50-90wt.% arom. polycarbonate resin (e.g. Novarex 7030 PJ, a product of Mitsubishi Chemical Industries, Ltd.), 2-45wt.% arom. polyester resin (e.g. polyethylene terephthalate), 3-25wt.% halogenated bisphenol epoxy resin of the formula (wherein X is Cl or Br; Y is alkylene, CO, S, or SO2; and (n) is 2-50), and 1-20wt.% thermoplastic elastomer (e.g. an acrylic rubber). |
