PURPOSE:To improve the efficiency of tube end sealing by molding the end with foam synthetic resin after filling the tube with active material. CONSTITUTION:Core metal 1 is put in the tube 2, active material such as lead oxide powder 3 is packed in the gap between the core metal and the tube. After this, the end of tube is put in the mold 6, foam synthetic resin with acid and oxidation resistances is molded by the injection molder to form sealing body 4. In this way, the preparation process can be simplified and quality of the plate can be stabilized. |
