PURPOSE:To contrive hard solubilization of a heavy metal in a flying ash and reuse the flying ash contg. the heavy metal hardly solubilized. CONSTITUTION:In a stabilizing treatment of a flying ash contg. a heavy metal, a ferrous salt is added to a water dispersion of flying ash, and is oxidized with an oxidizing gas in a alkaline solution to precipitate the soluble heavy metal salt contained in the flying ash as a ferrite.
