PURPOSE:To execute mud pipe connecting action rapidly without the loss of mud discharge pressure at the time of extending a mud pipe used in a mud shield construction method. CONSTITUTION:A rotor 14 with plural shield pipes 17 each of which can accommodate a single pipe 9, a mud pipe, is rotatably provided between stator flanges 15, 16 respectively provided with connecting pipeline mechanism 120 and a connecting cylinder 35 that can receive a feed mud pipe 7A. The inside 12s of the connecting pipeline mechanism 120 is provided with a movable pipe 12 driven in the protruding/retreating state with mud 20 flowable therein. A single pipe 9' out of the shield pipes 17 positioned into a shield pipe stand-by position ST1 by the rotating action of the rotor 14 is connected to an existing mud pipe such as the feed mud pipe 7A by the protruding driving of the movable pipe 12. |
