PURPOSE:To provide a ceramic device having a photograph like image formed thereon. CONSTITUTION:The surface of at least one hot-melt ink layer containing patterning pigment of a thermal transfer ink layer is superposed on the surface of a transfer film having thermal adhesiveness with respect to hot-melt ink to be irradiated with laser beam corresponding to image data and light is converted to heat in the thermal transfer ink sheet and/or the transfer film. The hot-melt ink is melted by this heat to transfer a pigment image to the transfer film. This process and a process baking a ceramic device to remove the transfer film by evaporation or baking and sintering the patterning pigment on the surface of the ceramic device are executed to produce a photographic ceramic device. |
