PURPOSE:To obtain a synthetically excellent microcapsule capable of being reduced in spot staining, enhanced in emulsifying power, good in the stability of emulsified particles during reaction, improved in particle size, distribution or the denseness of a capsule wall and good in workability by reducing large particles present in a capsule slurry in a very small amt. CONSTITUTION:In the production of a microcapsule, the microcapsule having an amine/aldehyde condensate as a wall film is formed in a system wherein a hydrophobic core substance is dispersed in or emulsified with an acidic aqueous soln. containing an nionic water-soluble polymer being a copolymer consisting of at least three kinds from acrylic acid, sulfoalkyl arylate or sulfoalkyl methacrylate and alkyl acrylate. |
