PURPOSE:To provide a compact terminal device in which when the inner cable or rod of a control cable is connected to a mating member, the effective length of the inner cable can be quickly adjusted and also a laterally projected part can be eliminated. CONSTITUTION:A manual adjustment type terminal device for a control cable is provided with a terminal member 12 consisting of an engaging surface 18 on which a first engaging tooth row 20 connected to a rod 24 and extending in the axial direction of the rod is formed, and a column part 30 projected from the engaging surface 18; and with a slide groove 36 for guiding the terminal member 12 so as to be freely moved in the longitudinal and thickness directions. The terminal device 10 is made up of a connecting member 14 in which a second engaging tooth row 28 is formed in the inner bottom surface of the slide groove 36 and a long hole 46 for penetrating the column part 30 is provided, and also a connecting part 40 to be connected with a mating member is provided; and an operation lever 16 provided with a second cam 78 which is to be engaged with the free end of the column part 30 that has been projected from the connecting member 14 and by which the column part 30 is introduced in cooperation with a first cam 32 that has been provided to the free end thereof. |
