<p>PURPOSE:To improve the adhesive capacity of an electric motor driven vehicle by dividing a plurality of main motors, independently controlling the respective motors by a plurality of voltage regulators when the vehicle speed is low, connecting the voltage regulators in series when the vehicle speed is high, and connecting the voltage regulators in parallel with the motors. CONSTITUTION:When an electric motor driven vehicle runs at low speed, contacts P1, P2 are closed to thereby supply the output of a rectifying bridge RB1 to the parallel circuit of main motors M1, M2 and to supply the output of a rectifying bridge RB2 to the parallel circuit of main motors M3, M4. When the vehicle reaches predetermined speed, a contact S2 is closed to thereby connect the main motors M1-M4 in parallel. Then, the output of the bridge RB1 is lowered, and the output of the bridge RB2 is raised to open the contact P1 and to close the contact S1. Then, the contact P2 is opened to break without ignition so as to add the outputs of the bridges RB1 and RB2 to thereby supply current to the motors M1-M4 connected in parallel.</p> |
