METHOD FOR REDUCING SKID MARK OF HOT FINISHED

PURPOSE:To reduce skid marks of a rolled stock as generation of scales is restrained in the finishing of a hot tandem rolling. CONSTITUTION:In the finishing of a hot tandem rolling executing a looperless rolling, the temperature of the rolled stock leaving the rough rolling on the front stage is measured to predetermine a variation cycle of temperature in the longitudinal direction of the rolled stock and the phase therefor and a low temperature part in the longitudinal direction at least is heated by heating devices approaching the rolled stock between stands No.1-No.2 or between stands No.2-No.3 of the hot tandem finish rolling through the cycle and phase obtained when the variation cycle of temperature and phase are converted to those of the rolled stock between these stands.
